How to Introduce NPW Celebrations at Your Office
Hosting a NPW celebration at your office is simple.   Start by reminding your supervisor that National Payroll Week is important, not only to those in your payroll department, but to everyone in the company.

Use the special payroll section in Forbes magazine, on newsstands during National Payroll Week, to convince your boss to celebrate NPW.  Attach this specially prepared memo to a copy of the special section and forward to your company's executives.

Plan Your Office Celebration

Need help putting your celebration together? Here are a few creative ways to educate coworkers about their paychecks, the payroll withholding system and the workings of your department:

  • Encourage your fellow employees to participate in the "Getting Paid In America" online survey.  Add one of these messages to your letterhead, paystubs or e-mail signature.

              Message 1  Message 2   Message 3
