Team Up With National Payroll Week Sponsors

NPW sponsors are committed to honoring the payroll profession and educating the public about the important role payroll professionals play in this country. They are financially committed to supporting our public awareness and education campaigns, and they hope that you, the payroll professional, will acknowledge them for their generous support.

Sponsorship is about partnership. Both sides come out winners. NPW sponsors want you to be aware of them and their commitment. You welcome the assistance of sponsors that make NPW events even better. Sponsors work with APA National to expand our national public awareness campaign, and they are anxious to work with our members on local NPW celebrations and events. Regional offices and local salespeople are looking to get involved.

How can you work with NPW sponsors?
  • Ask them if they would like to help sponsor your local event - by donating something or providing a speaker.
  • Ask them to underwrite an educational outreach program - by donating materials to an area school.
  • Suggest they send NPW fliers to their local mailing list - they can take credit for being part of NPW.
  • Ask sponsors join you when you receive a proclamation from the Mayor or other elected official.  It's a great photo op for them, too.
  • Invite their public relations staff to assist you in getting media coverage for an event that you both participate in - they have full-time professionals dedicated to getting coverage.
  • Don't forget to say "thank you" to your sponsors.  Sample letter for your "thank you" to sponsors.

The possibilities are unlimited. If you know of a business that you think should be a partner in National Payroll Week, tell them about it - they may just be waiting to hear that it matters to their customers.
