Requesting a proclamation is easier than you might think—just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit Your Official’s Website
   Many state and local offices now accept proclamation requests online. Start by visiting your mayor’s or governor’s website to see if you can submit your request digitally. Online submission is often the quickest option.



2. Contact the Government Official’s Office
   If an online form isn’t available, reach out to the official’s office for guidance. They can walk you through the process and let you know what’s required.Tip: Plan ahead—most requests take at least a month to process.
3. Gather Helpful Documents
   You may be asked to provide background information about National Payroll Week and why the proclamation matters. Having the right materials ready will make the process smoother.
